Max became a member of the RNF Family March 22,2002. He is a nine year old nuetured male and is an example of how great a rottweiler can be with love and dedication. Lucky for us we stopped into our local Animal Rescue league to have a look around and to talk to friends. I have to admitt is was love at first sight and I knew he was something special. When he ran out of his kennel and hopped right up and kissed me in the face. And just incase anyone missed it Max is a very LARGE boy for a Rottweiler to say the least. But that sure does not stop his stubbie and butt from wiggling.
His owners of 9 years apparently moved from Hampton, NB to the city and were unable to take him with them. So they dropped him off at the Animal Rescue League just 4 short days before we were lucky enough to find him. Whoever loved and cared for Max must truely have been heart broken that sad day. I know this because I can see in Max's eyes that someone loved him very much and he florished with their love into the well rounded boy he is today. So whoever cared for our new Max Thank you for loving him enough to show him love and kindness!
Just to give you an idea of how lucky we are to have Max just picture a dog of atleast 150 or more. With his butt stuck up in the air while he beggs our cat Missy, my three pound Pom Zeta, or one of the other rottie's to please try and take his large PINK stuffed bone out of his mouth. He truely is a big boob in all its glory.
We are very lucky to have Max in our lives and to be able to love and charish him untill he is called away to play with Pia and Quest in the clouds.
